The mission to mars is going to be the new biggest step in mankind to live,work, and explore the surface of mars.The people who want to go will stay there for their whole life NEVER COME BACK!!!! so I'm not going!!!

FIRST THINGS IN SPACE

This is sputnik 1 the first ever thing to go in space it was launched in 1957 and it is a satellite that sent radio signals back down to earth on its return into earth’s atmosphere it burnt up.

Did you know that the first pet in space was a dog Laika this is the Space dog  In 1957 laika went  in space and when it was orbiting the earth the air supply ran out so Laika died.

NASA to launch R2 to join Space Station Crew

NASA will launch the first human-like robot to space this year to become a permanent resident of the International Space Station. Robonaut 2, or R2, was developed jointly by NASA and General Motors under a cooperative agreement to develop a robotic assistant that can work alongside humans, whether they are astronauts in space or workers at GM manufacturing plants on Earth.

Nasa wants to put a picture of you on one of the last 2 shuttle missions and launch it into space.
I found this really interesting the only thing is you have to be 13 but you could always put your pet on there
I was thinking of putting a picture of my guinea pig Honey and sending her up on the shuttle
you also  get a cool certificate at the end to print out.

UFO FILES

in UFO's its really good watch this video it shows a clip of the programme, its suitable for 7+ although it
is abit scary.
the clip shows a UFO that we have discovered there is secret alien things inside to make it do human impossible things.
